DamonandElena.com was opened on July 14, 2009 – 3 months before The Vampire Diaries premiered, and was the first fansite dedicated to Damon and Elena. The site was started by Arwen, and for the next 2 years, it grew into one of the largest and best sources for Damon/Elena on the web.

I took over running the site in May 2011, I got to meet both Ian and Nina at conventions in the USA, and I also got to see where The Vampire Diaries was filmed in Covington, Georgia.

By September 2012, DamonandElena.com had over 7000 followers on Twitter, 12000 likes on Facebook, over 300,000 unique site visits and the site was even mentioned in the February 2012 Vampire Diaries issue of Entertainment Weekly.

After the Vampire Diaries finished in 2017, I decided to close the site and focus on other things. In February 2025 I decided to re-launch the site for the nostalgia/throwback. It won’t be as big as it was but I hope you all still enjoy the site.
